Claudia Fan Munce is a recognized leader in the innovation ecosystems across the globe. As the head of IBM’s Venture Capital Group, she served on the boards of many global investment organizations. After her retirement from IBM in 2016, Claudia joined New Enterprise Associates as a venture advisor across its portfolio companies. She is an independent board member of the Bank of the West/BNP Paribas Group USA Holdings, the Best Buy Corp., and Arteris IP. Fan Munce holds the CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight and is a board member of the NACD Northern California Chapter. She is an appointed faculty member of Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In 2015, Worth magazine named Fan Munce as one of the 20 most powerful players in Silicon Valley and Inc. magazine followed by naming her one of the most important venture investors of Silicon Valley.
