Candace “Candy” H. Duncan is an experienced public company director and former KPMG leader. She served with KPMG for more than 35 years, including as managing partner for the Washington Metropolitan Area and as a member of the firm's board, where she chaired the nominating committee.

During her KPMG career, Duncan held a variety of leadership roles, including Midatlantic Area managing partner for Audit and Virginia Business Unit audit partner in charge. She served as lead audit partner for major international and domestic companies, including Dollar Tree, Volkswagen, Siemens Automotive, International Family Entertainment/The Family Channel and Continental Automotive. She served as account executive for Norfolk Southern, CarMax, Alpha and Markel.

Duncan has served as audit committee chair for Discover Financial Services, Teleflex, and Summit Health. She also served on the nominating and governance committee for Discover. She has extensive experience in strategic transactions, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and debt offerings.
