About The Event
In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, trust has emerged as a cornerstone of effective governance and organizational success. The 2025 election is having a notable impact on trust in the boardroom primarily due to the uncertainty and potential changes in regulatory and economic policies. We will explore the dimensions of trust, including interpersonal trust among board members, trust between the board and C-Suite, and trust with external stakeholders such as investors, customers, and regulators. We will consider current trends that point to an underlying concern regarding corporate trust in today’s business environment. Small groups will discuss the Board Directors’ trust role in the organization with an emphasis on accountability, diversity, and inclusivity across the enterprise.
Learning Outcomes
- What mechanisms can be in place to ensure the c-suite is held accountable without creating a culture of fear and blame in the organization?
- How does lack of diversity on a board undermine trust?
- How can boards effectively engage with s/o (outside the boardroom) to build trust?
