Aileen K. Alexander is the CEO of DSG Global, the largest woman-founded and woman-led executive search firm in the world. Under her leadership, DSG continues to break barriers and pave pathways for positive impact through its work in executive search, consulting, leadership convenings, and board advisory services.

For more than 50 years, DSG has challenged the status quo by partnering with an array of clients, including Fortune 500, mid-market, and private-equity-backed companies. DSG also works across the healthcare, nonprofit & social impact, and education sectors.

Aileen’s distinguished career spans both the public and private sectors. She began her journey as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army, later serving as a Captain, before transitioning to national security policy roles at the Department of Defense and the U.S. House of Representatives.

A strong believer in service and giving back, Aileen is committed to supporting her local and national communities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the NACD Philadelphia Chapter, University City Science Center, Villa Joseph Marie High School, and is actively involved with the CEO Council for Growth at the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has contributed her leadership to various nonprofit organizations—including through ongoing work with veterans.

Adding “Author” to her impressive list of accomplishments, Aileen co-authored the best-selling book "Deliberately Different" with DSG Founder and Chair Emeritus Judee von Seldeneck.

A graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School and The Johns Hopkins University, Aileen is widely recognized as a thought leader, with her insights featured in publications such as Barron’s and Forbes.
