Please join us to consider how technology and the rapid rate of advancements are dramatically reshaping how companies compete, provide value to, and build trust with their customers, and simultaneously risk losses in company relevance, reputation, and financial returns. This program will cover the following:

• Recognize that all companies, to varying degrees, are “technology companies”.
• Some companies are “makers” of technologies. Most companies are “takers” of technologies. A few are in between. They first take and then become “shapers” of technologies.
• Explore the board’s role in strategically considering critical technologies, prioritizing their business fit, identifying related risks and options, and assessing success.
• Consider the business strategy role and impact of technology leveraging defensive and offensive capabilities.
• Surface options and tools for the board and its committees to encourage collective currency,  learning, and effectiveness.
• Identify metrics for estimating strategic opportunity, progress.
• Learn how to recognize risks induced by new technologies, including technology-induced business model displacement and disruption.
