Artificial intelligence is entering a new phase. Organizations are moving beyond generative AI experimentation toward agentic AI: systems that can plan, act, coordinate tasks, and execute across business workflows with increasing autonomy.
For boards, this shift raises important questions. How should directors oversee AI systems that do more than produce content or analysis? What level of autonomy is appropriate? How should organizations manage cyber, operational, legal, reputational, and workforce risks? And how can boards help management pursue AI-enabled transformation while maintaining trust, accountability, and control?
Join the NACD Northwest Chapter for a timely discussion on how boards should lead in the era of agentic AI transformation. Hosted at Deloitte’s Seattle office, this panel will bring together perspectives from corporate governance, venture capital, cybersecurity, and hands-on AI implementation. The conversation will explore how directors can ask sharper questions, guide responsible adoption, evaluate strategic opportunities, and oversee the risks and operating-model changes created by agentic AI.
The event will be streamed online and will also be hosted at the Deloitte offices in Seattle for those who can join in person. A great opportunity to network with fellow directors.
Panel:
- Nadim Kilzi, Founder and CEO, Cedarpeak International
- Mark Peek, Director, SentinelOne, Trimble, Workiva
