Navigating Culture and Leadership Dynamics

We had an engaging virtual event tailored specifically to our Women’s General Counsel Cohort, during which we delved into the critical topic of boardroom culture and board performance, with a particular focus on leadership dynamics for women.

Our panel of experienced female leaders, including Jane Allen (partner, PwC; global board member, PwC), Kimberly Simpson (chief operating officer, general counsel and corporate secretary), and Samantha Crispin (partner, Baker Botts), discussed the unique challenges women face in the boardroom and how they overcame them during their journeys inside the boardroom. They also discussed how we can foster a more inclusive and equitable environment and empower women around us to succeed as well.
 
Together, we identified challenges faced by female leaders, discuss the role of diversity initiatives, and highlighted best practices for cultivating a high-performing culture in the boardroom.
