About The Event
A successful relationship between the Board and CEO is critical to dealing with geopolitical, economic and social issue challenges, performance expectations and overall scrutiny facing companies today. As Board members’ and CEOs' roles have become more complex, building strong and productive relationships cannot be left to chance.
NACD’s 2025 Blue Ribbon Commission Report on the Board-CEO relationship was released in October 2025 and explored strategies to address key issues such as fostering mutual trust; aligning on performance expectations; CEO evaluations and succession planning; and clarifying engagement levels. This event led a deep-dive discussion into this report and a hands-on workshop about how to apply the report's recommendations to attendees' boards.
