About The Event
Yale Club of New York City | April 16, 2026 | 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM EDT
As private credit becomes a permanent component of institutional portfolios and retirement plans, boards are increasingly tasked with overseeing illiquid assets governed by evolving regulatory and disclosure frameworks. This shift reflects broader changes in how capital is originated, distributed, and held across credit markets. This program equipped directors with an overview of the private credit landscape, its evolution, and practical guidance for governing private credit exposures, including how to set clear liquidity expectations, strengthen valuation oversight, stress-test assumptions, and avoid risk drift. Participants learned how boards could strengthen oversight and govern private credit with greater confidence and discipline in a rapidly evolving asset class.
