Anita Allen is an experienced board director and strategist, skilled in advising companies and boards. Anita is the founder and president of Allen Advisory Group, a management consulting firm guiding clients to improve business performance and results by assisting with strategy development, digital transformation and defining and developing improved processes, organizational models, and systems. Anita also provides mentoring and coaching to executive and management-level individuals to improve development opportunities, career path direction, and performance results.

Anita is an independent director of The RENN Fund (NYSE: RCG), a publicly traded closed-end investment firm, and Currant Inc., a start-up company building technology solutions to simplify supply chains while enhancing consumer experience, enabling micro businesses to grow. She served on the board of the Tingley Rubber Corporation, a leader in the PP&E industry, where she chaired both the nominating/governance committee and the audit committee. Knowledgeable about enterprise risk, she holds the CERT certificate in cybersecurity oversight.

She is NACD Directorship Certified, an NACD Certified Board Leadership Fellow and chair emeritus of the NACD New Jersey Chapter. She is a member of the strategy committee of the board of YWCA Northern New Jersey and is a past president of the board of the Center for Hope and Safety, where she serves on the Advisory Board and the Finance committee.

Before establishing Allen Advisory Group, she was a top-performing partner at KPMG Consulting, focusing on serving global organizations and enabling clients to achieve breakthrough results. Anita was a practice leader with P&L responsibility and a key contributor to the growth of the management consulting business, driving product development and revenue in solutions across several industry sectors. A former auditor and financial expert, she has extensive experience in the life sciences and professional services sectors. A licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey, Anita has a BS in accounting from Monmouth University. She was recognized as a 2015 NJ Leading Woman Entrepreneur.
