About The Event
On January 27, 2025, NACD New Jersey hosted its fourth annual webinar examining the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2026, offering timely insights just days after the report’s release at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. Participants gained a clear, practical understanding of the most pressing global risks shaping the year ahead, informed directly by Mark Elsner, head of the Global Risks Initiative at the World Economic Forum, alongside Andrea Bonime-Blanc and Michael Marquardt, with the discussion expertly facilitated by Anita Allen.
The session helped directors and executives make sense of a complex and rapidly evolving risk landscape spanning geopolitical, technological, economic, and humanitarian domains. Through a concise overview of the report’s key findings and a dynamic panel discussion, attendees walked away with data-driven perspectives and concrete lessons they could apply immediately. The conversation emphasized how boards can view global risks not only as threats but also as strategic opportunities, strengthening enterprise risk management, resilience, and long-term value creation as organizations look ahead to 2026 and beyond.
