About The Event
This virtual event, held on September 16, 2025, in partnership with HINJ and NACD New Jersey, focused on how boards can strengthen organizational resilience in the face of public health crises
Our speakers shared real-world perspectives on lessons learned from COVID-19 and explored strategies for navigating future threats, including infectious disease outbreaks, mental health emergencies, and climate-related health events.
The discussion emphasized the director’s role in guiding preparedness, shaping scenario planning, and embedding enterprise-wide risk management practices. Participants left with a clearer understanding of how proactive governance, cross-sector collaboration, and a focus on workforce safety and supply chain stability can position organizations to respond effectively when the unexpected occurs. The program underscored that resilience is not built in crisis, but through sustained, forward-looking leadership that anticipates emerging risks and integrates them into boardroom strategy.
