As Board Directors, we need to stay attuned to new, game-changing, emerging technologies. Quantum Computing (QC) is poised to be the next "fire moment" and will change the landscape for all businesses enabling many break-through uses critical to wide ranging industries. Coming on the heels of generative AI (AI), it is critical to understand how the combination of QC + AI = Artificial Super Intelligence and the magnitude of implications for strategic opportunity, cybersecurity and risk oversight boards will need to consider and navigate.
