About The Event
Board directors examined why staying attuned to game-changing emerging technologies is critical to effective oversight. The session highlighted why quantum computing (QC) is expected to be the next inflection point—following generative AI—and how it has the potential to reshape business models across industries through breakthrough applications. Participants gained an understanding of how the convergence of QC and AI could lead to artificial superintelligence, and the far-reaching implications this convergence may have for strategic opportunity, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk oversight. Led by QuEra Computing, a leader in the quantum computing space, the program provided a foundational overview of QC, explored key use cases across both risks and opportunities, and outlined the essential questions boards should begin considering as they prepare for the quantum era.
This event was held virtually on March 3, 2026.
