About The Event

This virtual session examined how a board’s Compensation Committee can respond to unanticipated events that extend beyond routine compensation matters. Participants explored the complex and often high-risk issues committees face today—ranging from one-time actions affecting a single executive to the need for a full redesign of a company’s compensation program.

Through discussion with experienced Compensation Committee directors, attendees gained insight into how committees navigate these challenges while balancing investor expectations, evolving marketplace practices, and regulatory considerations. The session highlighted practical approaches for addressing critical and unexpected situations while maintaining sound governance and alignment with stakeholder interests.
