A Fireside Chat with Ben Harris

The U.S. is facing unprecedented times with numerous significant disruptions, including the ongoing social unrest, geopolitical issues and economic uncertainty.  Board directors need to address numerous issues including current economic outlook, financial and market stability, community economic development and civic leadership’s role in it, labor market issues and geopolitical issues and implications for supply chain and global investments.

While we don't know yet which of many economic forces will be trending in 2025, we do know that we live in an ever-changing world and understanding the factors driving the economy and economic policy are key. This discussion with BEN HARRIS, Vice President and Director of the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution, offered his analysis of the current economic landscape, both in the U.S. and abroad.  This Fireside Chat was moderated by CATHY MINEHAN, former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
