The debut of AI models like Anthropic's Claude Mythos has permanently altered the enterprise cybersecurity landscape. Capable of autonomously discovering thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities and executing end-to-end compromises without human intervention, these "agentic" AI systems have compressed the window between vulnerability discovery and active exploitation from weeks down to hours. For corporate boards, this is not just an IT or security challenge, it is a critical governance, regulatory, and enterprise risk mandate.
In this NACD webinar hosted by Qualys, corporate directors will learn how the post-Mythos era fundamentally breaks traditional technical risk management metrics. When AI can weaponize vulnerabilities overnight, relying on standard severity scores can leave organizations dangerously exposed. The board's focus must shift from measuring theoretical risk to overseeing validated, business-context risk, requiring organizations to counter AI-speed threats with trusted, autonomous remediation.
Led by Qualys CISO Nathan Smolenski and featuring NACD Special Advisor for Cyber Risk Chris Hetner, this session bridges the gap between technical reality and boardroom oversight. Directors will gain actionable frameworks to oversee cyber risk effectively, ask management the right questions, and ensure their organizations align their AI and cyber defenses with modern regulatory expectations to protect shareholder value.
This program is complimentary to NACD members and nonmembers.
