The NACD Directors Summit is the premier gathering for corporate directors and board leaders. Over four days, you’ll gain insights from top governance experts, hear from high-profile speakers, and explore emerging trends in board leadership, risk oversight, and corporate strategy.
NACD Directors Summit 2026 will take place October 11–14, 2026, at the Gaylord National Harbor and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland, just outside the Washington, DC area.
The Summit is designed for current and aspiring corporate directors, board committee members, and senior executives who want to strengthen governance skills and gain actionable insights to lead their boards more effectively.
Your registration includes access to all Summit sessions, networking events, breakfasts and lunches, reception events, and program materials. NACD/CPE credit tracking is included for eligible sessions.

Yes. Registrations can be transferred to another attendee if you’re unable to attend. Cancellations received by July 31, 2026, are eligible for a refund minus a processing fee. Please see our full registration policies for details.

The Summit is hosted at the Gaylord National Harbor and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland, located just outside Washington, DC. It offers luxurious accommodations, convenient conference spaces, and easy access to nearby attractions.

After completing your registration, you will be able to access the reservation page online to book your room at NACD's discounted hotel rate. Rooms are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Summit features a mix of plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and panel discussions covering corporate governance, technology oversight, risk management, and emerging trends. Detailed session and speaker information will be available on the Summit agenda page.
Attendees can earn 17 NACD credits and up to 17 CPE credits. Credit tracking and certificates will be available through the Summit platform.
Yes! Summit registrants will have access to presentation slides, session recordings (where permitted), and other materials for post-event reference.
