Board Candidacy Advisor Package

To access the resources for the Board Candidacy Advisor Program, you’ll need a separate BlueSteps account created with a different email address than your existing BlueSteps account. If you try to use the same email, our team will reach out to help you register with a different one.

Make sure you're logging in at bluesteps.com/nacd — not the main BlueSteps site. If you have multiple BlueSteps accounts, double-check you're using the correct email address for the NACD program. Still having issues? Email our support team at nacdsupport@bluesteps.com — we aim to respond within one business day.

If you don’t get the OTP email within 5 minutes, it may have been blocked by your email provider. This is common with Outlook and Hotmail addresses. Still no luck? Reach out to nacdsupport@bluesteps.com and we’ll help you log in.

Once you've submitted your profile details, it typically takes 2–3 business days for our team to review and approve your account.

During your first session, which is generally one hour, your advisor will get to know you, discuss your board goals, and help outline your personalized path forward. Come prepared with questions and any materials you'd like reviewed.

Our advisors are generally very responsive. You can expect a reply within 1–2 business days, though it may take a bit longer if they’re reviewing your documents in detail.
