A practical D&O reality check: what it covers, what it doesn’t, where directors get surprised, and what the market looks like right now. We’re going for candid and useful—not theoretical, and not a sales pitch.
Our Facilitator? The legendary Melissa Harris. Former Chicago Tribune business columnist turned marketer. Melissa reported extensively on major corporate and civic leadership—and her investigative work earned a Pulitzer Prize nomination. She went on to business school at Chicago Booth and founded her fast-growing marketing agency, M. Harris & Kern, in 2016. She's also an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Chicago Booth; the co-author of the book Everybody Needs an Editor; and the executive producer of the podcast Division Street Revisited with Pulitzer Prize winner Mary Schmich. She brings a journalist’s approach to cut through complexity and get to the facts directors need.
