Dorlisa Flur is an experienced board director, accomplished C-suite executive, and former McKinsey & Company partner who brings strategic clarity and operational depth to companies navigating disruption. With more than 30 years of experience, she is a strategic architect for multi-billion dollar brands in healthcare, financial services, and retail—specializing in modernizing legacy business models through advanced analytics and digital transformation.
In her current governance portfolio, Dorlisa serves as a Trustee for CuraCor Solutions and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, where she anchors its Strategy Working Group, applying a consumer-centric lens to the state’s largest health insurer. Her board service spans public, private, and non-profit structures, including Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) and United States Cold Storage. She recently guided the successful sales of SpartanNash (Nasdaq: SPTN) and Hibbett (Nasdaq: HIBB) to strategic buyers at substantial premiums. She has extensive service on all major committees, chairing nominating and governance and strategy committees.
Dorlisa’s methodology is rooted in the rigorous problem-solving of McKinsey & Company, where she was the first female partner elected in the Southeast. She later transitioned from advisor to operator, leading large-scale omnichannel and capability scale-up transformations for national retailers such as Belk and Family Dollar, and the financial turnaround of Southeastern Grocers.
A member of the 2024 NACD Blue Ribbon Commission on Technology Governance, Dorlisa is a sought-after contributor on topics ranging from strategic alignment to technology oversight. She is NACD Directorship Certified™ and holds an MBA and a BS in computer science and economics from Duke University.
