About The Event
NACD Capital Area and NACD Nashville, in collaboration with the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, welcomed guests to celebrate Women’s History Month with a must-attend virtual program on Thursday, March 20.
This engaging conversation featured trailblazing women who discussed key trends and insights in governance and resources for fostering inclusive, purpose-driven leadership. Our speakers shared:
- the role of the board in driving stronger connections between companies and the world in which they operate;
- today’s strategies for gaining the experience and skills needed to advance into and through leadership roles;
- financial independence as a pathway to governance leadership;
- progress over the last 50 years, from the Equal Credit Opportunity Act to today; and
- how to learn more about the new Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum.
