Vice Adm. Jan Tighe, US Navy (Ret.), NACD.DC, joined General Motors Co.’s board of directors. Tighe served as the navy’s deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare and director of naval intelligence during her lengthy career. She also was fleet commander for US Fleet Cyber Command, US 10th Fleet and deputy director of operations, US Cyber Command. Tighe was the first woman cryptologic warfare officer promoted to flag rank, as well as the first woman to command a numbered fleet. She also serves on the boards of Goldman Sachs Group, where she is on the audit, governance, and risk committees; Huntsman Corp., where she chairs the sustainability committee and serves on the audit committee; and IronNet, where she chairs the nominating and corporate governance committee...
