Julie Pitts is NACD's Senior Director, Chapter Network. She brings over 20 years of executive and relationship-focused experience in membership, education, governance and service-based organizations. She’s held a variety of roles at NACD since 2011 and currently oversees a team of regional directors in the NACD chapter network. Julie provides critical strategic support connecting the National organization and its teams and resources to NACD's 22 chapters to transform and enhance member value through world-class chapter programs and peer-to-peer engagement bringing powerful governance ideas to life in the 35+ local markets NACD serves.
Julie also serves the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star – Houston Regional Board as the Nominating and Governance Co-Chair (and big sister to Martha), Houston Tutorial Association as founder and chair, is a former board member of the Mission of Yahweh Homeless Shelter and is the primary advisor to their GED® community program partnership. She holds a BBA in International Business and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma.
