As vice president of strategic partnerships, Erick Turasz helps Fortune 500 companies and affluent families implement a full range of domestic and international duty-of-care safety, medical, and security services.

Prior to joining Global Guardian, Turasz served in the US Air Force for over 20 years, where he gained extensive leadership, special operations, procurement, and project-management experience as a colonel and special operations pilot. His decorated military career was highlighted by 14 deployments totaling over 1,000 days as well as amassing over 5,000 flight hours, half of which were in combat. His last assignment was as the operations group commander of the second-busiest airport in the US Air Force, where he led 1,500 members. Prior to this assignment, Turasz was responsible for a multibillion-dollar five-year US Special Operations Command budget for the staffing, training, and equipping of a 75,000-strong global force.

After his military service, Turasz was an executive at the largest seaplane airline in the southeastern United States, overseeing domestic and international commercial flights.

He holds four master’s degrees and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida.
