Vik Rai is a leader in Grant Thornton’s Cyber and Risk practice, delivering IT, cybersecurity, and AI risk management solutions aligned with board priorities and strategic enterprise and technology risks. He brings over 23 years of management consulting experience in planning, execution, team building, and leadership.

He has led several risk transformation programs for large and mid-size companies, partnering with business leaders and executives. He helps clients manage emerging technology risks and contributes to thought leadership, with cloud security articles featured in American Banker and IIA Global Best Practices.

In addition to his work in serving clients with emerging technology risks, his recent work addresses AI adoption risks, AI governance audits, model risk evaluations, AI red-teaming, and managing risks with AI enabled architecture. He serves highly regulated industries, including banking and financial services, life sciences and healthcare, manufacturing, and technology, media, and entertainment.
