Todd R. Schnuck
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 1939 Group
Todd R. Schnuck serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 1939 Group, Inc., Festival Foods, Hometown Grocers and Schnuck Markets, Inc.
Todd is the third member of the third generation of the Schnuck family to lead the company. Before being named Chairman and CEO, Todd was Schnucks’ President and Chief Operating Officer from 2006 to 2014. He had previously been the company’s Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a role he held for 18 years.
With a passion for the local community, Todd currently holds board memberships with Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, The United Way of Greater St. Louis, Arch to Park, and Greater St. Louis, Inc. He was a founding board member for the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition and has served as the President of the organization’s board of directors.
Todd is also a past chairman of the board of directors for Fair St. Louis, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Development Board, and a past board of trustees President for both John Burroughs School and Rossman School.
Professionally, Todd serves on the board of directors for Commerce Bancshares, Inc., Topco, LLC, and the Food Marketing Institute.
Todd holds an MBA from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
