Stephen Babson joined Endeavour in 2002. Since that time, he has led investments in companies in the industrials and in the technology and business services industries. Babson’s relationship with Endeavour, as counsel and investor, dates back to its formation in 1991.

Before joining Endeavour, Babson was the chair of Stoel Rives LLP, one of the largest law firms in the Pacific Northwest. At Stoel Rives, Babson’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and on securities transactions.

Babson serves on the boards of Entek, ATL Technology, and Point B. Previously, he also has served on the boards of ESCO Corp., USNR, Vigor Industrial, Tidewater Inc., Little Red Services, Northland Transport, New Seasons Market, and ten other former Endeavour portfolio companies. In addition to his roles on Endeavour boards, Babson also serves on the board of Columbia Sportswear Co. and is a trustee of the Oregon Health & Science University Foundation where he serves on the executive, investment, and finance and audit committees. He is a former board member of Pendleton Woolen Mills, Roseburg Forest Products, and the Oregon Symphony.
