Ryan co‑leads a team of ten brokers focused on management liability insurance for publicly traded companies, large private companies, and financial institutions. Ryan is responsible for client relationships, marketing, service, and post placement insurance brokerage activities with primary focus on directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, and commercial crime insurance. Ryan’s additional responsibilities include business development, managing insurer relationships, and team training and development.

Ryan’s areas of expertise include Directors and Officers Liability including International D&O, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Commercial Crime, Kidnap and Ransom and Professional Liability related to Financial Institutions.

Ryan’s industry specialties include Financial Institutions, Real Estate, and Transportation.  In addition Ryan has experience placing complex placements including SPAC/deSPAC, IPOs, and digital asset related industries. Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2008) and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2015).
