Robert L. Greene is the President and CEO of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), where he has led the organization for over 15 years, championing the advancement of alternative-asset class investment firms. Under his leadership, NAIC has played a pivotal role in expanding access to capital and increasing opportunities for its members and partners.

In addition to his role at NAIC, Greene served as Chairman of the Virginia Retirement System (VRS), overseeing one of the nation’s largest public pension funds. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board, where he contributed to the organization’s strategic direction and governance.

Recently, Greene was inducted into the Wall Street Hall of Fame for his contributions to the industry. He is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and has held significant leadership roles, including Board Member Emeritus of The Kappa Foundation, underscoring his commitment to mentorship and service.
