Ram Kumar is a Partner in Aon’s Executive Compensation Practice, with over 20 years of experience in executive compensation, equity strategy, and corporate governance. Ram works with clients that vary in size and complexity across a range of industries, maintaining a strong focus in high-growth companies in the technology and life sciences sectors, including in both development stage and commercial biotech, med devices, and diagnostics. Ram has has assisted clients in all life cycle phases, from start-up to IPO through evolution as a  mature public company. 

Prior to joining Aon, Ram worked for six years in the executive compensation and corporate governance advisory field, including more than four years at the proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). While at ISS, Ram led the US research group charged with analyzing governance and compensation issues across most public US companies and making proxy recommendations to institutional investors of those companies

Ram earned a bachelor of arts from Johns Hopkins University and is based in Princeton, New Jersey.
