Paul Clancy is a public company director, former biopharmaceutical chief financial officer, and finance educator with extensive experience in corporate strategy, M&A, financial leadership, and governance. He is board chair of Sionna Therapeutics and chairs the finance and audit committee at Incyte. Paul previously served on the boards of Exact Sciences, Agios Pharmaceuticals, and Xilio Therapeutics.

Before his board service, Paul was chief financial officer of Biogen and later of Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where he helped guide growth, capital allocation, investor relations, and strategic decision-making. Institutional Investor's annual survey ranked him among the top three biotech CFOs every year from 2011 to 2020. Paul also serves on the faculty of Cornell University's graduate school of business and is an executive fellow at Harvard Business School
