Nora M. Denzel is a retired Silicon Valley technology executive and currently serves as the Lead Independent Director of Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD). She is also on the boards of Gen Digital (NASDAQ: GEN), Sony Group (NASDAQ: SONY) and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Previously, Nora held board roles at Ericsson, SUSE, Talend, and Redbox’s parent company, Outerwall, where she was interim CEO.
Before transitioning to board work, she held several C-suite roles, leading businesses in big data, consulting, enterprise software, and storage. Notably, Nora was a key executive at Intuit, where she retired as Senior VP of Big Data, driving company-wide analytics to serve over fifty million customers. She also held senior roles at HP. Nora is a passionate advocate for women in tech, having served on the boards of AnitaB.org and the YWCA of Silicon Valley.
Nora holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She currently resides in Spain and Florida with her husband.
