Michelle Lewis is an accomplished independent director, private equity principal, and C-suite executive with deep experience in industrial manufacturing and distribution businesses. She is recognized for elevating performance, driving sustainable growth, and creating value through strategy, capital allocation, and operational excellence. Drawing on a diverse background spanning operations, investing, and consulting, Lewis’s areas of expertise include corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and organizational development.

Lewis brings public and private board experience and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Adentra Inc. (TSX: ADEN), a leading North American building products distributor with a complex global supply chain. She served on the Audit Committee and is the Chair of the Nominating, Compensation, and Governance Committee.

Lewis also serves as Chief Business Officer of BLOX Holdings LLC, an advanced manufacturing company leveraging integrated delivery and industrialized construction methods to streamline how buildings are designed and built, where she leads strategy, capital markets, investor and board relations and organizational development. Previously, she was a Principal at CapStreet, a middle-market private equity firm investing in industrial distribution, manufacturing, and tech-enabled solutions. During her tenure, she sat on the Investment Committee and built and led the firm’s origination function.

Prior to CapStreet, Lewis served as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at DNOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW), a $5+ billion global distributor of industrial products, engineered solutions, and manufactured equipment, with more than 5,000 employees across 20 countries. In this role, she led DNOW’s global strategy, capital allocation, and investor relations efforts. She also oversaw several corporate functions, including Human Resources, IT, and Facilities. During her tenure, Lewis led twelve strategic acquisitions, generating approximately $1 billion in incremental revenue, and championed automation and technology investments across customer-facing omnichannel platforms and core operations.

Previously, Lewis was a senior leader at National Oilwell Varco (NYSE: NOV), where she served as Senior Vice President of Shared Services within the Distribution & Transmission business. In this role, she led or supported more than fifteen mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and helped the division grow from $600 million to $5.5 billion in revenue prior to its spin-off as DNOW.

Prior to NOV, Lewis was with Alvarez & Marsal, where she held leadership roles in restructuring and business consulting, following her early career experience as a consultant in human resources, organizational development and change management.

Lewis earned her Master of Business Administration from the Jones School at Rice University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas.
