Melanie is a capital markets partner who primarily focuses on life sciences, medical device, technology, and women's health companies. She has guided clients through some of the most challenging equity financing transactions in these sectors, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, structured deals, fallen-angel reverse mergers, and alternative IPO strategies when conventional paths to capital are not available. She is known for finding creative solutions to get deals done in difficult market conditions — the kind of transactions that require persistence, ingenuity, and a willingness to push through obstacles — and for helping clients chart a path forward when there is no clear playbook.

She advises SEC-reporting clients on their most sensitive reporting challenges — evolving disclosure obligations, delicate disclosure matters, investor relations crisis management, and high-stakes governance matters at the board level.

Melanie is passionate about helping health care innovators access the capital they need to bring life-saving and life-changing therapies, diagnostics and devices to market. She serves on the board of the Center for Community Solutions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
