

Maggie Wilderotter

Maggie Wilderotter is a seasoned executive who, as CEO, has led both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups in her career. In addition, she has extensive board leadership, having served on over 35 public company and 14 private company boards of directors.
Today, Wilderotter serves on the public boards of Costco Wholesale Corp., Sana Biotechnology, and, as board chair, DocuSign as well as the private boards of Tanium and Sonoma Biotherapeutics. In addition, she is a senior advisor to a number of companies, including Accenture, American Century Investments, Atairos, Blackstone, Celonis, Garden City Equity, GEP, Okta, SHRM, and Sixth Street. She co-chairs the Bank of America executive mentor program with CEO Brian Moynihan.
In 2024, she was named one of the “Top 20 Value-Creating Directors in America” by Corporate Board Member: a Chief Executive Group community and AlixPartners.
Wilderotter was CEO of Frontier Communications from November 2004 to April 2015 and then executive chair of the company until April 2016. During her tenure, Frontier grew from a regional telephone company with customer revenues of less than $1 billion to a national broadband, voice, and video provider with operations in 29 states and annualized revenues over $10 billion.
Wilderotter previously served a four-year tenure on the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, as both vice chair and chair, ending in 2014. She also served on the Obama administration’s Commission Enhancing National Cybersecurity until January 2017, which was responsible for the Report on Securing and Growing the Digital Economy for the incoming first Trump administration.
