Jan has served corporate boards in five countries. Her current boards include chairing the audit committees for Bank of Montreal with assets of over $1.5 trillion and Boldyn Networks, a London headquartered CPPIB privately-owned global shared-network infrastructure provider. Until recent sales to PE, she chaired the audit committee for Walgreens Boots Alliance, a Fortune 50 global pharmacy, and served on Euromoney, a UK-based FTSE 250, as Lead Director and on the Nominations and the Compensation Committees. In 2025, after nine years she ‘termed off’ of GHD, an employee-owned Australian headquartered engineering firm where she served as lead director. Before her ‘portfolio career’, Jan spent 28 years with EY, the last 20 London-based, holding executive board and global client facing leadership roles over cyber/technology security services; climate change and sustainability services; and regulatory and public policy.

NACD Directorship magazine has named Jan “one of the most influential people in the boardroom community”. Agenda, a FT board member publication, included her in their ‘International 100: Top Board Candidates with Global Skills’ and the Confederation of British Industry named her as their inaugural First Woman of Technology. Jan served nine years on the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
