Jackie Shoback is a public board director, former CEO, CMO, COO, and  Co-Founder of  1414 Ventures, an early stage venture firm focused on the nearly $1T Digital Identity market.  They are the only active digital identity venture capital fund and they invest in areas such as cybersecurity, fraud prevention, risk management, data privacy, encryption, and access management to name a few. Prior to starting her fund, she spent 25 years successfully launching and profitably growing businesses from startup to over $1B in revenue at firms like Staples, Fidelity, TIAA and Boston Private.  As a former c-suite executive (CEO/CMO/COO) she has a breadth of global experience across consumer and financial services industries with deep expertise in multi-channel operations, fintech, digital, b2c, b2b, and d2c businesses.  Jackie currently is an independent board director at TruStage, a $6B in revenue diversified financial services company, where she serves on the audit and technology committees, and chairs the human capital and compensation committee.  She is also a board director at Cygentise, a blockchain-based digital signatory management platform, and an advisory board member of Perspective Equity Partners, a middle market PE Fund.

Jackie is an alumni director on the board of Harvard Student Agencies (HSA), a collection of undergraduate student-run businesses at Harvard University.  She is also a member of Forbes Business Council, and has written articles on data privacy, AI, data security and governance topics.  She has received a number of awards including Most Influential Board Director by WomenInc in 2019 for excellence in board governance and is a founding member of Extraordinary Women on Boards (EWOB).  She is a venture capital advisor at HBS, has monthly office hours at MIT’s Innovation Sandbox, and is a member of MIT Media Lab’s Decentralized AI Roundtable.  She is a graduate of Wellesley College, cum laude and has her MBA from Harvard Business School.
