Eric Nemmers is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Wellabe, an insurance organization based in Des Moines, Iowa that offers supplemental health, life, and annuity products.

As General Counsel, Eric is responsible for overseeing legal and compliance functions for the organization, including areas such as corporate governance, litigation, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Eric also oversees the organization’s government relations activities. 

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Health Administration, and Juris Doctor degrees all from the University of Iowa.
Eric is active with Iowa State Bar Association and the Federation of Iowa Insurers, and he serves on the boards of the Iowa Legal Aid and the Des Moines Metro Opera.
