M. Eric Johnson is Dean (emeritus) and the Bruce D. Henderson Professor at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He served as dean of the school from 2013 to 2023, during a period of significant growth. Previously, he served as Associate Dean for the MBA program at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business, where he was also Faculty Director of the Center for Digital Strategies. His teaching and research focus on digital strategies and the impact of information technology on the extended enterprise. In addition to his academic research, Johnson has consulted with global companies such as Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, Nike, Oracle, and Philips Healthcare.
