Elizabeth Sohmer is a Director and Vice President in Bernstein’s Wealth Strategies Group. She works closely with high-net-worth clients, particularly entrepreneurs and private business owners, as well as their professional advisors, on complex planning issues such as pre-transaction planning, multigenerational wealth transfer, family engagement and education, philanthropy, retirement planning, and asset allocation. Elizabeth initially started at the firm in 2013 as a private client associate and joined the Wealth Strategies Group in 2015 as an analyst, being promoted to Senior Analyst in 2017. In 2019, she left the firm and spent two years as a relationship manager at PitchBook Data, a market data provider, with a particular focus on private markets and emerging industries. She rejoined Bernstein in 2021. Elizabeth earned a BS in mathematics from Villanova University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder since 2018 and a member of the CFA Society New York.
