Daniel Kaufman is a co-founder of the SKKZD Group, a wealth management team located in Atlanta, GA. Encouraging “savings and spending discipline strategies” for clients, Daniel places equal importance on managing both investments and liabilities. He provides educational guidance and practical, near-term recommendations as part of a comprehensive wealth management strategy, offering clients an extra measure of personal attention and perspective.
Daniel follows a disciplined, long-term investment approach — drawing on lessons from the past, a plan for the future, and the diligence to take action in the present. Utilizing Morgan Stanley’s broad platform and intellectual capital, he builds customized portfolios tailored to each client’s unique risk profile and objectives.
He closely monitors progress to ensure strategies remain aligned with evolving goals, while proactively engaging experts in fixed income, lending, retirement, and insurance to create well-rounded solutions that strengthen both sides of the balance sheet. Daniel is proud to always put his clients’ interests first.
Daniel began his financial services career at Merrill Lynch after graduating from Emory University in 2007, where he also played Varsity baseball. He has been actively involved in the local community, including mentoring through Jewish Family & Career Services, where he later joined the Board of Directors in 2019. A passionate sportsman, he has earned recognition in youth baseball, including a Gold Medal with Team USA in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel. Daniel also contributes to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Charity Golf Tournament planning committee. He currently resides in Brookhaven with his fiancée, Allison, and their dog, Franklin Potato.
