Dale Buckner is the CEO and president of Global Guardian LLC. He has been leading Global Guardian since its inception in March 2012 and is directly responsible for its day-to-day operations and growth.

He is a decorated combat-commander with multiple combat tours and classified operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, Haiti, and Cuba, and he has executed deployments to Russia, El Salvador, Honduras, Chile, Panama, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Buckner served in the US Army infantry (nine years), military intelligence (two years), and special forces Green Berets (13 years). He commanded five organizations including an infantry reconnaissance platoon, a special forces scuba team, a special force counter-terrorism team, a special forces counter-terrorism task force, and a special troops battalion.

Buckner has bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and business, master’s degrees in public administration and business administration, and a master’s certificate in strategic leadership from Cornell, and he was a senior fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Buckner earned a total of 27 awards and decorations highlighted by his combat Bronze Star Medal and Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He is a thought leader in the industry with recent features in CNN, Politico, NPR, The Hill, Bloomberg, Forbes, and other major media outlets.
