Craig Warren

CEO, Washburn Center for Children & Nonprofit Board Member

Craig Warren is a social impact catalyst with extensive leadership experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.   He is motivated by a desire to create more equitable community outcomes around education, income, employment, and mental health.  Craig is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Washburn Center for Children which he joined in 2020.  Washburn nurtures the well-being and full potential of all children and their families through transformative children’s mental healthcare.  Prior to joining Washburn Center, he served as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at the Minnesota Children’s Museum.  His professional experience includes leadership roles at Greater Twin Cities United Way, Best Buy, Rockwell Automation, The Coca-Cola Company, Towers Perrin, and the United States Army.  

Community service is important to Craig and he currently serves on the board of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. He also volunteers as a mentor for the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and Menttium.

Craig earned his master’s degree from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and his bachelor’s from The Johns Hopkins University. He is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory.
