Christine O’Brien

Christine provides strategic counsel on activism defense and other contested situations. She brings unique insight and deep expertise, having worked for more than a decade at Elliott Management, one of the largest and most prolific activist investment firms and served as a C-suite executive.
During her twelve years at Elliott, Christine held positions of increasing responsibility, starting as Research Analyst and ultimately serving as Head of Investment Stewardship. At Elliott, Christine was deeply involved in dozens of activist campaigns as well as both public and private investments. Following her tenure at Elliott, Christine served as the Chief Financial Officer and later the CEO of the Americas for SEE Holdings, a multinational holding company based in Dubai that designs, invests in, and builds sustainable infrastructure and cities.
Earlier in her career, she was an audit associate at KPMG. She has served on the Investor Advisory Group (IAG) at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), as a Board Member of Aeolus Capital Management, as a Board Member of Triple Flag Precious Metals, and an Advisory Council Member for the Council of Institutional Investors. She is both a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is an adjunct professor at the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
