Cameron is a Managing Director with Cherry Bekaert's Advisory Services. She helps develop and drive the Firm's internal and external growth strategies for the Asset Management and Private Equity Industry, and she is a leader in the Firm's Transactions Advisory Practice focused on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). Cameron also leads Key Account Management for the Private Equity Industry, which provides a bespoke client service experience for private equity funds and their portfolio companies. 

Clients she supports include private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, fund-of-funds, real estate funds, crypto funds, family offices, business development companies, private credit and other lenders, investment banks, strategic buyers, portfolio companies, and founders.

Cameron has 20 years of experience in various growth roles for professional service firms, including a start-up, family office-backed merchant service provider, payment software developer, VC and PE-backed asset-based lenders, and an AmLaw 100 law firm. She has spent the last 5+ years with Cherry Bekaert, focusing on its growth in asset management, private equity, and M&A services. 

Her entrepreneurial and dealmaker spirit, coupled with experience in capital markets, regulatory compliance, and M&A, allows Cameron to provide a 360-degree, business-practical perspective to Cherry Bekaert’s clients, professionals, and referral networks. 

She was a member of the inaugural Cherry Bekaert Advisory Council, serving as a trusted advisor to Firm Leadership and a champion of strategic initiatives. 

Cameron is based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, serves on the advisory board for the Northern Virginia chapter of Urban Alliance, an organization dedicated to helping underserved youth advance toward professional career paths, and volunteers for Fairfax County food bank Food for Others. 

Cameron is also Mom to an amazing daughter, a runner, hiker, yogi, and weightlifter, a proud University of North Carolina Tar Heel, and an alumnus of UNC's Ultimate Disc (frisbee) team, Pleiades.
