

Béatrice Richez-Baum
CEO and Director General, European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa)
Béatrice Richez-Baum is director general of the European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa), where she advocates for European board members and engages closely with European Union (EU) institutions. She initiated and established ecoDa’s European board diploma, a key program aimed at strengthening the competencies of board members across Europe. Before joining ecoDa, she worked as a legal expert for the Paris Chamber of Commerce and gained experience in Brussels with the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe and the EU’s European Economic and Social Committee.
Richez-Baum serves on the advisory boards of Chapter Zero Brussels and Lanzcape (a legislative monitoring and advocacy advice app) and has held board roles with the European Society of Association Executives and the Club of Rome–EU Chapter. She has published several articles on EU advocacy and contributed to two books.
A doctor of law specializing in European law, Richez-Baum completed her PhD in international trade and European law and trained at the Paris Bar School. She is also a graduate of the Executive Master in International Association Management program from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
