Amara has spent her 30 year career advising private business owners on their financial goals. Working at Citizens Bank, Wells Fargo and Truist, she led financings for private companies. Currently she is a Wealth Advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, an affiliate of AllianceBernstein, LP. At Bernstein, she advises business owners, corporate executives and nonprofit management teams on developing investment goals and strategies. 

Amara currently sits on the Board of two NonProfits:  the Fund for Girard College, the Cobbs Creek Foundation and is an Emeritus Member of the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
