Adé Heyliger is a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, a global law firm, and member of the governance, securities, and reporting practice; the artificial intelligence task force, and the sustainability and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) advisory group.

Heyliger routinely advises boards of directors, board committees, and C-suite executive officers on various governance matters, including internal investigations, leadership transitions and succession planning, self-assessments, independence determinations, executive compensation, and ESG and sustainability matters. He provides counsel on sensitive matters, including crisis management, internal controls, accounting irregularities and financial restatements, and shareholder activism and engagement. Heyliger advises companies on compliance matters in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets transactions, and bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He also provides day-to-day guidance and lectures extensively on corporate governance, US Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure requirements, and regulatory and rulemaking developments.
