Romulo L. (“Romy”) Diaz, Jr. is the Principal of Turtle on Post LLC, a board governance and advisory services company. Diaz serves as an independent director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, an advisor to PBJ Marketing and an independent director of the PBJ Foundation. He also serves on the boards of the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Latino Corporate Directors Association, National Association of Corporate Directors (Philadelphia), and the Pan American Association of Philadelphia.

Diaz is the former General Counsel of PECO Energy, a division of the Exelon Corporation (NASDAQ: EXC) and Pennsylvania’s largest combined electric and natural gas utility; City Solicitor of Philadelphia; and Assistant Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He began his career at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he served in various roles, including Counselor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Energy.

Diaz earned his B.A. in Plan II Liberal Arts Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
