About The Event
Boards that understand the game-changing potential of quantum computing—and its impact on strategy, operations, and risk—will be best positioned to help management integrate this technology into long-term planning and effective governance oversight.
The NACD Pacific Southwest and NACD Northwest chapters partnered for a dynamic two-part virtual series exploring quantum leadership and how boards can position themselves for the quantum future.
In part one, Ashwin Rangan, who has decades of experience and leadership in technology and is the coauthor of Governance in the Age of AI: A Director’s Handbook, laid out the foundation for board-level understanding of quantum computing along with key takeaways and questions to be asking in the boardroom. In part two, Rangan was joined by a panel of industry experts who delved into the strategic and governance considerations shaping tomorrow’s most innovative boards. Directors were armed with a working understanding of quantum computing, its impacts and applications, and how to govern in an age of rapid change.
